Medical & Fitness Clearance

Your safety starts before the adventure. Prepare responsibly, challenge yourself, and experience the wild with confidence.

Your Safety Starts Before the Adventure

Adventure activities can involve physical exertion, challenging terrain, altitude, water environments and changing outdoor conditions. For the safety of our participants, WildForce Academy follows a pre-admission medical and fitness screening process for applicable adventure programs.

A Responsible Start

Participants may be required to complete a health declaration, fitness assessment and/or medical examination before admission is confirmed, depending on the nature and physical demands of the selected program.

This information helps our team determine whether the selected program is appropriate or whether additional medical advice may be required. Adventure Should Be Challenging — Not Reckless.

Our screening process helps us understand participant requirements and prepare activities responsibly, while supporting a safer overall adventure experience.

  • Identify unsuitable participation
  • Understand participant requirements
  • Prepare appropriate activities
  • Plan for emergencies
  • Recommend suitable program levels
  • Improve overall participant safety
Important: Medical Screening Does Not Eliminate Adventure Risk.

Outdoor and adventure activities involve inherent risks. Medical and fitness screening is one part of our overall safety approach and does not guarantee that injury, illness or other incidents cannot occur. Participants must follow all instructions provided by WFA instructors, guides and relevant medical or safety professionals throughout the program.
